Noah Frederick

Lubbock Christian University welcomes Noah Frederick as the Assistant Director of Athletic Performance: bringing energy, expertise, and a strong commitment to developing elite-level athletes.

A native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Frederick earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2023. At UL, he gained valuable experience as a strength and conditioning intern, working with multiple sports and learning under Coach Oliver Houston IV—a mentorship that has now come full circle as the two reunite at LCU.

Following his internship, Frederick accepted a graduate assistant position at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where his dedication and expertise quickly earned him a promotion to Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. At NSU, he programmed and coached baseball, women’s soccer, and volleyball while also assisting with the football program. In December 2024, he completed his Master’s in Sports Administration from NSU-LA.

Now at LCU, Frederick takes the lead in the strength and conditioning programs for baseball, softball, and men’s soccer, helping athletes develop power, resilience, and peak performance.

Frederick is CPR/AED certified and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). His return to working alongside Coach Houston signals a powerful partnership that will push LCU athletics to new heights.
