Chaps Close Out Conference Schedule Monday in Dallas

CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•    The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals close out their Heartland Conference schedule for the season Monday on the road facing Dallas Baptist.
•    Lubbock Christian heads into Monday's contest 5-2-0 in conference (7-5-1 overall) following a 2-1 road win Saturday to Oklahoma Christian.
•    LCU, 3-0-0 this season in conference road play, went 5-0-0 in road conference play last season and has never lost a Heartland Conference road game. They are 24-13-5 all-time in road games (8-0-0 all-time in Heartland road games).

STORY LINES
•    The Chaparrals have 49 all-time wins and a win Monday would be their 50th in program history.
•    LCU is third in the Heartland Conference in goals per game with an average of 2.23 per game. The mark is the second best scoring pace in program history. The top mark was a pace of 2.48 goals per game from 2011.
•   Lubbock Christian is represented with two players in the top-10 in conference scoring, as Lennard Hansen entered the week tied for sixth in scoring with 15 points (6g,3a) and Tommy Fogarty-Cameron has 14 points (6g,2a) (entered the week ranking tied for 10th).
•    LCU is 5-0-0 on the season when leading at the half, but they are a combined 2-5-1 when tied or trailing at the half.   
•    Chap goalkeepers have combined for 4.8 saves per game this season, which could stand as a single-season program mark for saves per game (current best is 4.76 saves per game from 2010).
•    When it comes to game winning goals, LCU has received game winning goals from seven different individuals and no players has more than one on their resume this season.

SCOUTING DBU
•   The Patriots enter their contest with a 3-13-1 overall record and a 0-7-0 conference mark.
•    DBU is 2-4-1 this season at home following a 4-3 overtime loss Saturday against Texas-Permian Basin. Of their eight conference games, only three are scheduled at home this season.
•    Dallas Baptist is without a win in their last nine games (0-8-1) and enters Saturday's game on a seven-game losing streak.
•    Brian Robertson is the Patriots leading scorer with three goals and six assists for 12 points.

SERIES HISTORY WITH DBU
•    LCU leads the all-time series 1-0-0 against DBU.
•    The Chaps defeated DBU 2-1 last season in Lubbock (Nov. 2).
•    This meeting will mark LCU's first meeting against DBU in Dallas.  LCU is 4-0-0 all-time in games they have played in Dallas County all-time (wins over Dallas Christian, Northwood and Wiley, which was neutral site).
