Chaps Closing Season Sunday Afternoon in Portales

CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•    The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals play their final game of the season Sunday facing Eastern New Mexico on the road at 3 p.m. (Eastern). They are 2-2-0 all-time in regular season finales.
•    Lubbock Christian heads into Sunday's contest 9-5-1 after a 2-0 win at home Thursday over West Texas A&M University.
•    LCU is 5-1-0 on the road this season. They are 25-13-5 all-time in road games.

STORY LINES
•    The Chaparrals are a win away from notching a 10-win season, which would mark the fourth 10-win season for the fifth-year program.
•    LCU has an average of 2.27 goals per game. The mark is the second best scoring pace in program history. The top mark was a pace of 2.48 goals per game from 2011.
•   Lubbock Christian is represented with two players in the top-10 in conference scoring, as Lennard Hansen is third in scoring with 23 points (10g,3a) and Tommy Fogarty-Cameron has 14 points (6g,2a) (entered the week ranking tied for ninth).
•    LCU is 7-0-0 on the season when leading at the half, but they are a combined 2-5-1 when tied or trailing at the half.   
•    Chap goalkeepers have combined for 4.87 saves per game this season, which currently stands as the best single-season program mark for saves per game (current best is 4.76 saves per game from 2010).
•    When it comes to game winning goals, LCU has received game winning goals from nine different individuals and no players has more than one on their resume this season.
•    If Stewart Macdonell plays, he will move into second on LCU's career games played list with his 71st game played.
•    Callum Chapman-Page recorded his first goal of the season Thursday against WTAMU to become the 12th different Chap to score a goal this season.
•    The Heartland Conference announced their All-Conference selections for the 2014 season and Lubbock Christian University was represented with Tommy Fogarty-Cameron claiming First Team accolades and Lennard Hansen and Stewart MacDonell each claiming a spot on the Second Team.

Fogarty-Cameron was one of two freshmen on the conference's First Team. The London, England native ranks tied for ninth in the conference in points with 14 off six goals and a pair of assists. The midfielder has appeared in 13 games this season and has made 12 starts. His six goals ranks tied for seventh in the conference, and his pace of .5 per game is tied for fifth in the conference.

Hansen leads LCU in scoring this season with 25 points off 10 goals and five assists in 14 games played. The junior forward from Gottingen, Germany ranks third in the conference in points (25), goals (10), goals per game (0.7), second in points per game (1.8), sixth in assists per game (0.35), ninth in assists (5). He has a pair of hat tricks on the season, and his lone game winning goal came as a golden goal in overtime to defeat Dallas Baptist on the road. Hansen was honored earlier in the season with a conference Offensive Player of the Week honor.

MacDonell is one of two seniors on the LCU roster. He is completing his fourth season with the Chaps playing on defense (previously served as a forward and midfielder). The Mesquite, Texas native is the only player on the Chaps roster to start in all 15 games played this season. The mark has him heading into Sunday's season finale with an opportunity to play in his 71st game, which would place him second in program history in games played for a career. He has two goals for four points this season.

LCU has produced seven all-conference selections over the past two seasons, with Fogarty-Cameron becoming the second First Team selection.

SCOUTING ENMU
•   The Greyhounds enter their contest with a 6-6-3 overall record.
•   ENMU is 2-4-1 at home this season following a 1-0 home loss to Midwestern State.
•    Eight of the Greyhounds 15 games played have results in shutout results and they are 2-5-1 in games with shutout results.
•    Prior to their 1-0 loss to MSU on Nov.1, the 'Hounds had a seven-game (5-0-2) unbeaten streak.
•    Abayneh Crosby leads ENMU with four goals and three assists for 11 points in the season. .
•    Jose Hernandez assisted on each of ENMU's goals against LCU in a 2-2 tie on Oct. 2.

SERIES HISTORY WITH ENMU
•    ENMU leads the all-time series 2-1-2 against LCU and is 2-0-2 in the prior four meetings.
•    The contest is the second meeting of the season to complete a home-and-home season series. The prior meeting this season resulted in a 2-2 tie in Lubbock on Oct.2.
•    The 'Hounds have a 1-0-1 advantage in the series in Portales, N.M., with the last game in Portales resulting in a 2-1 ENMU win on Oct. 3, 2013.
