LIVE SCORING / ONLINE VIDEO / WEATHER

WICHITA FALLS, Texas. (September 15, 2014) – The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals hit the road Monday for a non-conference battle, as they lock horns with a solid Midwestern State University squad at 7 p.m.

CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•    The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals are 1-2-0 on the season after falling in their home opener 3-2 to University of the Southwest.
•     The contest is LCU's first true road game of the season, as their first two games of the season were neutral site games.
•     LCU is 20-12-5 all-time in road games.

STORY LINES
•    The Chaparrals were 6-2-0 last season on the road and they are currently riding a five-game road win streak. LCU's only losing season of road play was in 2012, as they were 3-4-1 that season on the road.
•    The Chaps road scoring leader last season with Billy Forbes, who had 19 points (8g,3a) in eight road games. The leading scorer on the road still on the roster this season is Stewart MacDonell, who had a goal and two assists for four points in eight road games. He would have had more goals on the road, as he had a multi-goal game wiped off the docket due to weather cancelling a game midway through at Dallas Christian last season.
•    LCU collected shutout victories in their last two road games of last season. Carrying over from last season, the Chaps enter the contest with a road shutout sequence of 204:05.
•    The Chaparrals have four goals this season and all four have been tallied in the second half. Despite that statistic, LCU has scored the first goal in two of their three games.
•    LCU has been out-shot 62-48 this season, but they are even when it comes to shots on goal (24-24). LCU has a .500 percent mark of shots on target compared to a .387 mark by the opposition.
•    Each of LCU's four goals have been tallied by four different individuals. Darius Strambler, one of the four individuals, has nine shots on the season and has placed eight on target (88.9%).

SCOUTING MSU
•    The Mustangs are 2-1-0 this season after a 2-0 victory over Colorado-Colorado Springs.
•    MSU has an eight-game home unbeaten streak carrying over from last season.
•    Andrew Power and Albert Rodriguez make up for all six of this season's goals for MSU. Power leads the team with four goals (has a three-game goal scoring streak) and Rodriguez has two goals.
•    The Mustangs have out-scored their opponents 4-1 in the first half, but have been outscored 4-1 in the second half of games this season.
•    MSU is a Lone Star Conference program, but the LSC does not sponsor men's soccer due to the lack of programs that have men's soccer.

SERIES HISTORY WITH MSU
•    The two programs have met in exhibition/scrimmage play, but this game marks their first ever regular season meeting.
