GAME NOTES
• LCU went from consecutive shutout wins to suffering their third shutout loss of the season. The road shutout marks the 11th time LCU has been shutout on the road in program history (third this season).
• When LCU loses, they lose big. They have been outscored a combined 14-0 in their three losses this season. LCU had only lost a game by three or more goals on eight occasions prior to this season all-time.
• The game was LCU's first of the season against a ranked opponent. LCU falls to 0-8-0 all-time against ranked opponents (0-3-0 all-time under head coach Alex Denning). Their last game against a ranked opponent came on Oct. 28, 2013 at St. Edward's (lost 3-0). LCU's last four games against ranked opponents have been on the road and they are 0-5-0 all-time against ranked opponents on the road. It was LCU's first ever game against a team carrying a No.14 ranking.
• For a second consecutive game, both LCU goalkeepers split the action. Leslie Castellano started the game and was credited with the loss, which was her first conference loss of her career. Lauren Story played the second half and made a pair of saves.
• DBU's Cox has produced four points against LCU in two consecutive games against the Lady Chaps (eight points over two meetings).  Cox produced four points with a pair of goals Thursday and last season produced a goal and two assists in a 3-2 win over LCU on Nov. 3, 2014.
• With the loss, LCU is 1-3-1 on the road this season and are 16-15-1 all-time on the road under head coach Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 26-25-3 on the road.
• The loss marked LCU's first conference loss of the season. The Lady Chaps are now 18-5-0 all-time in Heartland Conference games, 8-3 all-time in Heartland Conference road games.
• LCU falls to 0-3-0 against DBU in the all-time series.
