GAME NOTES

• LCU went from consecutive shutout wins to consecutive shutout losses. Sunday marked their fourth shutout loss of the season. The road shutout marks the 12th time LCU has been shutout on the road in program history (fourth this season).
• When LCU loses, they lose big. They have been outscored a combined 16-0 in their three losses this season. Sunday's loss was their first loss with less than a four-goal margin.
• The game was LCU's second of the season against a ranked opponent (second consecutive too). LCU falls to 0-9-0 all-time against ranked opponents (0-4-0 all-time under head coach Alex Denning). Their loss Thursday was to No.14 Dallas Baptist. LCU's last five games against ranked opponents have been on the road and they are 0-6-0 all-time against ranked opponents on the road. LCU falls to 0-2-0 all-time against a team carrying a No.25 ranking.
Lauren Story made her first conference start this season. LCU's all-time goaltending wins leader suffered the loss stopping two of four shots on goal faced.
• The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but rain pushed the game to Sunday and it was moved to an alternate location (Hays CISD's Shelton Stadium in Buda, Texas).
• With the loss, LCU is 1-4-1 on the road this season and are 16-16-1 all-time on the road under head coach Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 26-26-3 on the road.
• The Lady Chaps are now 18-6-0 all-time in Heartland Conference games, 8-4 all-time in Heartland Conference road games.
• LCU falls to 0-3-0 against SEU in the all-time series.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
