• Twin sisters Khadidra Debesette and Khadisha Debesette combined for both of the Lady Buffs goals. Khadidra scored in the 68th minute and Khadisha scored in the 78th minute.
• WTAMU goalkeeper Courtney Dippel recorded her second shutout of the season. She made 13 saves, which is the second highest total by a Lady Chap's opponent this season.
GAME NOTES• LCU went from consecutive shutout wins to now three consecutive shutout losses. Wednesday marked their fifth shutout loss of the season. The road shutout marks the 13th time LCU has been shutout on the road in program history (fifth this season).
• When LCU loses, they lose big. They have been outscored a combined 18-0 in their five losses this season. LCU had not lost a game this season when allowing less than four goals until Sunday (at St. Edward's) and now they have lost two straight allowing less than four goals.
• LCU matches a program record with their third straight shutout loss. They went a three-game stretch in 2013 falling 2-0 to Wayland Baptist, 1-0 at West Texas A&M and 2-0 at Texas Wesleyan. The Heartland Conference's leading offensive team has not scored a goal over a span of 281:41. The program record for longest scoreless sequence is 306:47.
• The game was scoreless at halftime. It was the first time this season LCU has lost a game when tied at the half (1-1-3).
• Castellano made seven saves, which topped her prior career high of six on Sept. 18 against East Central.
• With the loss, LCU is 1-5-1 on the road this season and are 16-17-1 all-time on the road under head coach
Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 26-27-3 on the road. It is the first time in program history they have been below .500 all-time on the road.
• The Lady Chaparrals are winless in their last seven non-conference road games (0-6-1).
• LCU falls to 0-2-0 against WTAMU in the all-time series and both games have resulted in shutout losses in Canyon.
