HOW IT HAPPENED• The game was scoreless until Hutchison's scored from short range after an assist provided by
Mickey Brunton set up LCU's first goal in the 35th minute (10:28 remained in the half).
• Lipe Lima tied the contest 5:08 after Hutchison's goal with his first goal of the season.
• A goal kick by Rios ended up making its way through and led to a converted scoring opportunity by Adu-Wusu with 25:23 remaining (65th minute).

GAME NOTES• LCU concludes the conference season with a 3-5-0 record. It is the first time they have finished with a losing record in conference play since 2012 (3-4-1).
• Hutchison's goal is his fourth of his career and his first of the season. He is the 12th different Chap to produce a goal this season. Last season, LCU witnessed 13 different players with a goal for the Chaps.
• Rios claimed an assist on Adu-Wusu's goal, which qualifies as the first assist and point by a Chaps goalkeeper in program history.
• Rios made his first start in goal in a conference game and stopped two of four shots on goal.
• The Chaps won despite leading scorer
Tommy Fogarty-Cameron not in the lineup (injury). He ended up leading the Chaps this season in conference scoring with three goals and an assist for seven points in conference play.
• LCU is now 5-1-0 all-time against UTPB, 3-0-0 all-time in Odessa and 3-0-0 all-time in games in the series that count towards Heartland Conference play.
• The game marks the 14th consecutive game in which LCU was unable to score more than two goals.
