Luckey averaged 21.5 points while shooting 65 percent from the field and sinking 13-of-14 at the free throw line in wins over West Texas A&M and No. 25 (NAIA) Our Lady of the Lake last week.  Against OLLU, the 6-0 guard scored a game-high 25 points, including 20 in the second half, and reeled in a game-best seven rebounds. In the pair of wins, the senior posted averages of 21.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in 25.5 minutes per game.
The award is Luckey's first and marks the second time a Chap has been recognized for the honor, as Tyler Rogers was acknowledged during the 2013-14 season.
