Tommy Fogarty-Cameron scored the lone goal for the Chaps.

HOW IT HAPPENED• For a fifth time (out of six games), the opposition scored first as Joel Barboza scored the game's first goal 5:56 into the game.
• Fogarty-Cameron registered his second goal of the season (eighth of his career) in the 35th minute, with an assist credited to
Mickey Brunton off a cross breaking out from the right corner.
• Rafael Moreira registered the "golden goal," scoring in the 100th minute (first overtime) for UTPB. He was able to take advantage of a pass from Caio Toth for his first goal of the season.
GAME NOTES• The game was between two Heartland Conference squads, but does not count as a Heartland Conference game, as their conference tilt is scheduled for Oct. 31 in Odessa, Texas.
• The overtime placed LCU with an all-time overall record of 8-2-11 in games ending in an overtime loss. It was LCU's second ever overtime loss and their first since Oct. 26, 2010 at home against Oklahoma City. It was LCUs second overtime contest this season (0-1-1). They have not had a pair of overtime decisions in a single season since 2014.
• LCU had a 25-12 advantage in shots on goal. Fogarty-Cameron led all players with seven shots. The advantage in shots on goal was a 9-8 mark by LCU.
• Fogarty-Cameron has scored in consecutive games. It is the second time in his career he has scored a goal in consecutive games. Ironically, the prior time in his career was also against both Eastern New Mexico and UTPB.
• LCU drops to 4-1-0 all-time against UTPB, as it was the Falcons first ever win against LCU.
• The Chaparrals are now 1-1-1 at home this season. They are 4-4-2 all-time at home under Williams and 25-12-6 all-time at home overall.
