CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•   LCU looks to match a season-best win streak and also aims to end a four-game road losing streak, as they begin a two-game road trip Thursday at Texas A&M International for a Heartland Conference tilt.
•   The Chaparrals are 3-8-1 on the season and are 2-5-1 in Heartland Conference play after a 1-0 home win over Oklahoma Christian Saturday. The Chaps are tied for ninth in the Heartland Conference standings (7 points) and are in last in the West Division (0-2-0 / 0 points, four points behind division leading West Texas A&M).
•   LCU, who went 6-3-0 last season in road competition, is 1-7-0 in road play this season and are 33-24-5 all-time in road play.
 
STORY LINES
•   The Chaps are 19-13-1 all-time in Heartland Conference contests and 11-6-0 all-time in Heartland Conference road contests (LCU went 2-2 in conference road games last season).
•   LCU's 1-0 win Saturday marked their fourth shutout of the season.  The Chaps have been involved in seven shutout results this season (12 games played), with three shutout wins, three shutout losses and a scoreless draw.  
•   The Chaps rank 28^th nationally in fouls per game, with an average of 10.2 per contest. Breaking it down even more, LCU is averaging 15.3 fouls at home and 7.6 per game away from home.
•   On the road, LCU is led offensively by Mickey Brunton, who has two goals and four points.
•   Of LCU's 10 goals on the season, eight have come in the second half.
•   Fernando Rios, ranking 29^th nationally in saves (51), is in the 24th nationally in goalkeeping minutes played with a conference leading 1100:00.

•   The Dutdevils are coming off a 7-11-1 mark last season. They are 4-7-0 this season, which includes a 3-5-0 conference record (seventh, 9 points).
•   TAMIU, who went 3-4-1 last season at home, is 3-3-0 at home this season. They are coming off a 3-0 home win Saturday over St. Mary's and have a two-game home win streak.
•   The Heartland Conference has TAMIU preseason picked sixth in the conference preseason poll.
•   Ryan Hodgson leads the conference with a mark of 0.6 goals per game, but he has been held without a goal in the past four games.  
•   Like LCU, TAMIU is a disciplined team, ranking 12^th nationally with an average of nine fouls per match.
