LCU HIGHLIGHTS
• LCU received a goal from Conner Dean.
• The Chaps produced a season-high 27 shots (had an 8-2 shots on goal advantage for their third highest shots on goal total of the season).
• LCU collected their first West Division standing point.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• UTPB tallied the first goal, with Caio Toth scoring his second goal of the season in the game's 25th minute.
• Dean tallied the equalizer with 14:05 remaining in regulation in a scramble in the box, as he was Johnny-on-the-spot to put in a ball that worked to him by Jay Okojie and Mickey Brunton.
• LCU out-shot UTPB 6-3 in overtime, with a header by Dean hitting off the crossbar in the game's 101st minute representing LCU's closest chance at changing the game's outcome.

GAME NOTES
• The tie placed LCU with an all-time overall record of 8-3-14 in games ending in overtime. It was the second draw under head coach Paul Gilbert and the second of this season and LCU is now 0-1-2 in their three games that have ended in overtime this season (all have been in conference play).
• Dean tallied his first collegiate goal. The freshman becomes the eighth different goal scorer for the Chaps this season.
• With one standing point in West Division play and six points remaining up for grabs, LCU is unable to catch division leading West Texas A&M, who has 10 standing points (highest LCU could finish with is seven standing points in the division). In overall conference play, the highest LCU could finish is with 17 standing points. They are not mathematically eliminated, but currently in 10th place based on conference standing points. Each division leader (divisional standing points) advances to the conference tournament and the remaining three at-large berths are based on the best remaining programs that have the best conference standing points.
• Brunton, assisting on Dean's goal, increased his team lead in points (8) and assists (4).
• The Chaps are now 20-15-2 all-time in Heartland Conference contests and 8-8-2 all-time in Heartland Conference home games.
Erwin Regules and Dean each produced career highs in shots on goal, as they each had three.
• LCU has a 5-1-1 all-time series advantage over UTPB, as the two teams had a draw for the first time in seven all-time meetings.
• The Chaps move to 2-2-2 at home this season and are now 28-17-9 all-time at home overall.
