• LCU took the No.8 nationally ranked team and the highest ranked team LCU has hosted to overtime. Their sixth game decided in overtime this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Windham opened the game's scoring in the 55
th minute, taking advantage of a through-pass from
Jamie Boone and slipping it low past SEU goalkeeper Lorrie Santoy.
• SEU had a quick response, with Kelly Andrus tying the game up 2:15 after Windham's goal.

Jamie Boone had an opportunity to regain the LCU lead in the 60
th minute with a penalty kick attempt, but she was denied, as Santoy made a save against her former academy teammate. It would prove to be the difference, as the game remained tied in regulation and was not decided until India Wentz scored 2:17 into the first overtime for SEU.
GAME NOTES
• The game's result marked LCU's sixth overtime of the season. LCU is now 2-7-14 all-time in games ending in overtime (0-1-5 this season). Three consecutive games and five of the last six LCU games have resulted in overtime decisions. In addition, four of the six draws have ended in a 1-1 result.
• The loss was the Lady Chaps first overtime loss of the season and the first loss in overtime since falling to John Brown in overtime on Oct. 13, 2012. It ended several streaks, as LCU had been unbeaten in their prior nine games (4-0-5) and in their prior 16 home games (12-0-4).
• The goal by Windham was the freshman's sixth goal of the season. She is second on the team and tied for fourth in the Heartland Conference in goals.
• Boone's penalty kick attempt was LCU's 16
th penalty kick attempt in program history and their fourth attempt of the season. The failed attempt was the first of her career (3-for-4) and it marks only the second failed attempt in program history (14-of-16).
• The Lady Chaps move to 23-10-4 all-time in Heartland Conference games and 14-3-2 all-time in Heartland Conference home games.
• The game was LCU's home finale and they close out the season with a 5-1-2 home record this season and is now 29-7-6 all-time at home under
Alex Denning. They are 32-15-8 all-time overall at home.
• The meeting was the sixth all-time meeting between the two teams and the second for LCU to host. SEU remains perfect (6-0-0) in the all-time series against LCU.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
0-10-0: The contest marked LCU's first loss of the season against a ranked opponent. LCU is now 0-10-0 against ranked programs (all-time), 0-2-0 all-time against top-10 programs and 0-5-0 in contests against ranked foes under head coach
Alex Denning. The result also marked the fourth time LCU has lost to a ranked foe by a one-goal differential.
