CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
• LCU plays their final game of the season, facing Texas Permian Basin on the road for a Heartland Conference West Division battle.
• The Chaparrals are 4-11-2 on the season and are 3-8-2 in Heartland Conference play after a 2-1 home loss Thursday to Eastern New Mexico. The loss eliminated LCU from postseason contention.
• LCU, who went 6-3-0 last season in road competition, is 2-8-0 in road play this season and are 34-25-5 all-time in road play.
STORY LINES
• The Chaps are 20-16-2 all-time in Heartland Conference contests and 12-7-0 all-time in Heartland Conference road contests (LCU went 2-2 in conference road games last season). LCU is 1-5 in road conference games this season.
• Ten of LCU's 17 games played have resulted in a one-goal differential and LCU is 3-7 in games decided by one goal. Only five of LCU's contests have been decided by more than a goal (10 games decided by one goal and two draws).
• Saturday's season finale will mark the final games in a Chaps uniform for seniors

• The Chaps rank 55

SCOUTING UTPB
• The Falcons are coming off a 4-13-0 mark last season. They are 4-9-3 this season, which includes a 4-6-3 conference record.
• UTPB, who went 1-5-0 last season on the road, is 2-3-1 at home this season. They have lost two of their last three home games, including a 4-0 loss Thursday hosting West Texas A&M.
• The Heartland Conference has UTPB preseason picked 12th in the conference preseason poll. UTPB has been a Heartland Conference member since moving into Division II (from NAIA), but this is their first season in which men's soccer is their only affiliated program with the Heartland Conference, as their other sports are in their first season competing in the Lone Star Conference.
• UTPB, as a team, leads the conference and is seventh nationally in saves per game (6.9 per game). Alex Sproule ranks fourth nationally in saves (102) and sixth nationally with a rate of six per game (6.4).
• The Falcons rank as one of the nation's best in the foul department, averaging 8.6 per game to rank as the sixth lowest amount nationally.
