• After a scoreless first half, UCCS took a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 78
th minute by Jj Meyer.
• LCU's lone shot on goal came in the 33

• UCCS's Jake Mcallister led all players with five shots, with two on goal.
GAME NOTES
• LCU fell to 5-2-0 all-time in season openers. They are 0-2-0 in season openers away from home.
• The shutout loss was their first shutout deficit to open a season. All-time, it was the 25
th time they have shutout all-time and the 12
th time on the road.
• LCU's six shots matched last season's season low (Oct. 15, 2015 vs. Newman) and their one shot on goal was their lowest total since having one on Oct. 14, 2013 facing Texas A&M International.
