CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
• LCU goes for their first win of the season, as they remain on the road for their third game of a four-game road trip to open the season.
• The Chaparrals are 0-2-0 on the season after suffering a 1-0 loss Friday at Colorado Colorado Springs and a 2-1 loss Sunday at CSU-Pueblo.
• LCU, who went 6-3-0 last season in road competition, is 0-2-0 in road play this season and are 31-19-5 all-time in road play.
STORY LINES
• The Chaps are seeking a win to provide first-year head coach
Paul Gilbert his first coaching victory of the season.
• LCU scored their first goal of the season Sunday and it was notched by
Mickey Brunton, who connected on his third career goal. All three of his goals have come on the road.
• Lubbock Christian is seeking to end a two-game losing streak. The Chaps have never started a season 0-2-0.
• This season mark's LCU's fourth season as members of the Heartland Conference and second season with conference and NCAA postseason eligibility. LCU is preseason picked ninth in the Heartland Conference.
• LCU has 10 shots and four shots on goal this season. Brunton has five of the shots and three of the shots on goal.

Andres Ramirez is the only Chap (non-goalkeeper) that has played all 180 minutes of the Chaps season.
SCOUTING SCU
• The Eagles are coming off an 16-10-0 mark last season in which they finished 6-3-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference for a fourth place finish.
• SCU, a NAIA program, went 5-2-0 last season at home and this game serves as their home opener. They closed last season winning four of their last five home games, with the one loss coming on forfeit. SCU is 2-1-0 on the road and 1-0-0 on neutral site to make up their 3-1-0 record this season.
• The SAC, LCU's former NAIA conference, has SCU preseason picked fourth in the conference preseason poll.
• Jamie Campbell ranks eighth in assists (3) and 12
th in goals (3) in the NAIA to rank 10
th in individual scoring with 11 points.
• LCU is one of two NCAA programs SCU will play this season. They play Oklahoma Baptist later in the season.
SERIES HISTORY WITH SCU
• This meeting marks the first ever meeting between the two teams all-time.
• LCU is 2-2-1 against NAIA programs since 2013 (joined the Heartland Conference in 2013).
