CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
• The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals will kick start a two-game homestand Thursday afternoon with a Heartland Conference match against Texas A&M International. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. at LCU Soccer Field.
• LCU, unbeaten in their last three games (1-0-2) is coming off of a pair of 1-1 draws on the road against Midwestern State and Oklahoma Christian.
• The Chaparrals hold a 3-3-0 record at home this season and a 31-21-9 all-time record at home.
STORY LINES

Abdou Joof leads the Lubbock Christian squad and ranks fifth in the Heartland Conference with two game-winning goals this year.
• Joof and
Louis Callaghan have each tallied three goals to combine for six of LCU's 10 goals this season. The duo has also marked seven points each for 14 of the Chap's 29 points.
•
Parker O'Quinn has captured a .826 save percentage and ranks 26
th in the nation and third in the Heartland for goals allowed (8). O'Quinn holds a 4-3-2 record for 2017 with 38 saves in 2017.
• Nine of the Chap's 12 games have been decided by a one goal margin. Two of their matches have ended in a 1-1 draw leaving one match this year that was decided by a margin larger than one goal: a 2-0 loss to South Dakota School of Mines (9/3/17).
• LCU stands 2-2-2 against Heartland Conference Non-West Division opponents. Their match against the Dustdevils marks their second to last conference match against a team outside of the Heartland's West Division.
SCOUTING TAMIU
• Texas A&M International has recorded 10 goals while holding opponents to eight this season. Of their 10 goals, four have come unassisted.
• Alan Rivera leads the Dustdevil squad with 12 points on six goals in 10 appearances.
• TAMIU sits in third place of the Heartland Conference's South Division with 13 points and a 4-3-1 conference record.
• Carlos Herrera has played and started in eight contests for the Dustdevils. Herrera has also marked a 4-2-2 record for the season and ranks 13
th in the nation with a .850 save percentage.
• Of Texas A&M International's 137 shots this season, 57 have landed on target for a .431 cumulative shots on goal percentage.
SERIES HISTORY WITH TAMIU
The meeting between the squads will mark the fifth all-time in a series that stretches back to the 2013 season. The Dustdevils won the first matchup by a 2-1 margin. Since then, Lubbock Christian has gone on to win the previous three matches for a 3-1-0 overall record against Texas A&M International. Only one of the Chap's three wins has come at home for LCU. In the most recent meeting, Lubbock Christian outlasted TAMIU 1-0 in Laredo, Texas (10/13/16).
