• Lubbock Christian University moved to a 3-3-1 Heartland record and a 4-6-1 overall record after taking Midwestern State to a double-overtime 1-1 draw Thursday evening in Wichita Falls, Texas.
• Parker O'Quinn tied a season-high seven saves in the finish for a .875 save percentage on 27 shots faced (eight on goal).
• The Chaps marked five total shots for the night, two of which landed on frame.
• LCU was forced to play the final twenty minutes with 10 men as Mohammed Busaidy was given a red card in the 90^th minute.
• Corey Hutchison tabbed his first goal of the season and fifth of his career.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Midwestern State struck first with a 70^th minute goal by Pierre Bocquet. His goal was assisted by Carlos Flores on a corner kick set piece.
• Hutchison came up in a big way for Lubbock Christian with an equalizer in the 88^th minute of play. The senior's blast came from outside of the 18-yard box on an assist from Abdou Joof.

GAME NOTES
• LCU's draw marks the sixth non-losing result against a ranked opponent since the inaugural 2010 season. The Chaps now hold a 3-10-3 record when facing a ranked foe.
• Lubbock Christian's tie against Midwestern State marks the first blemish on the Mustang's 2017 record. Heading into Thursday night's showdown, MSU was off to an 10-0-0 overall record and their second-best start in program history.
• The draw against a No. 3 Mustang program marks the Chaparral's second non-losing result against a top-five ranked program. Both draws have come against Midwestern State. In each stalemate, the Chaps received late red cards forcing them to finish the match with 10 players.
• LCU had not played to a double overtime draw since a 1-1 result against Texas – Permian Basin last season (10/22/16).
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
15: The 1-1 result marks the 15^th draw in program history. Since head coach Paul Gilbert has taken over, the Chaps have tied opponents on three occasions.

Lubbock Christian will continue their trek north of the Lone Star State for a Heartland Conference bout against Oklahoma Christian. Kickoff is scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon at OC's Eagle Soccer Field. The Chaps own a 3-1-0 record against Oklahoma Christian with one of those wins coming on the road. In the most recent meeting, LCU outlasted OC 1-0 at LCU Soccer Field (10/8/16).
