• Lubbock Christian University moved to a 3-3-1 Heartland record and a 4-6-1 overall record after taking Midwestern State to a double-overtime 1-1 draw Thursday evening in Wichita Falls, Texas.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Midwestern State struck first with a 70
th minute goal by Pierre Bocquet. His goal was assisted by Carlos Flores on a corner kick set piece.
• Hutchison came up in a big way for Lubbock Christian with an equalizer in the 88
th minute of play. The senior's blast came from outside of the 18-yard box on an assist from
Abdou Joof.
GAME NOTES
• LCU's draw marks the sixth non-losing result against a ranked opponent since the inaugural 2010 season. The Chaps now hold a 3-10-3 record when facing a ranked foe.
• Lubbock Christian's tie against Midwestern State marks the first blemish on the Mustang's 2017 record. Heading into Thursday night's showdown, MSU was off to an 10-0-0 overall record and their second-best start in program history.
• The draw against a No. 3 Mustang program marks the Chaparral's second non-losing result against a top-five ranked program. Both draws have come against Midwestern State. In each stalemate, the Chaps received late red cards forcing them to finish the match with 10 players.
• LCU had not played to a double overtime draw since a 1-1 result against Texas – Permian Basin last season (10/22/16).

Kickoff is scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon at OC's Eagle Soccer Field. The Chaps own a 3-1-0 record against Oklahoma Christian with one of those wins coming on the road. In the most recent meeting, LCU outlasted OC 1-0 at LCU Soccer Field (10/8/16).
