• Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaps fell to a 4-3-1 overall record and a 1-2-1 mark in Heartland Conference play Thursday evening following a 1-0 loss to St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas.
• LCU recorded nine shots for the match with five landing on frame. Freshman
Zaida Lopez led the Lady Chaparrals with three shots on goal.

• After three periods of scoreless play, St. Mary's Riley Wincheski was able to convert a volley on a cross from Kaitlyn Judge in the 103
rd minute of play.
GAME NOTES
• The loss evens up the series record between the Lady Chaps and the Rattlers at 3-3-2 all-time.
• Though the series record now stands at 3-3-2, the St. Mary's victory serves as their first win since LCU joined the Heartland Conference in the 2013 season.
• Five of the eight meetings between the Rattlers and Lubbock Christian have gone into two overtime periods. However, this is the first double overtime finish that has resulted in a loss for one of the programs.

LCU will hit the road for South Texas to take part in a Heartland Conference bout with Texas A&M International. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Dustdevil Soccer Field. The Lady Chaps own a perfect 5-0-0 record over the Dustdevils with three wins coming at LCU Soccer Field and two coming on the road. In their most recent meeting, five different Lady Chaps put their names in the scoring column in a 5-0 shutout of Texas A&M International (10/13/16).
