HOW IT HAPPENED
• The match held scoreless until the 67
th minute when Newman striker Rosa Urista-Chico received a long pass from midfielder Lexi Clark. Urista-Chico's goal was her fifth of the season.
GAME NOTES
• The loss marks Lubbock Christian's second consecutive loss to the Jets as well as the second in the all-time series. LCU now holds a 4-2-0 overall record over Newman. Both of the Lady Chap's losses have come on the road.
• The 1-0 defeat marks the fourth scoreless performance of the year for the Lady Chaparrals.
• After holding clean sheets in five of the first six matches, the LCU defense has allowed at least one goal in the past three consecutive contests.
