• Lubbock Christian University improved to 6-4-1 overall and 3-3-1 in Heartland matches with a win over Rogers State in Claremore, Okla. Saturday afternoon. The Lady Chaps now stand 5-3-0 on the road in the 2017 campaign.
• With the win, LCU grabs three conference points and moves into fifth place in Heartland Conference standings with 10 points. The Lubbock Christian women are now just one point behind a fourth place Rogers State program.

Kate O'Gara took a free kick that ricocheted off of a Rogers State player. Guthrie then crashed in and tucked away a goal in the 89
th minute.
GAME NOTES
• The Lady Chap win drops RSU to a 7-3-0 overall record and a 4-3-0 mark in the Heartland Conference. Additionally, the win hands the Hillcats their first home loss of the season.
• LCU has now shutout opponents in five of their six victories in 2017.

Hannah Wise marked a season-high six saves against the Hillcats. Wise now has 34 saves on the year in addition to a .810 save percentage.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
3: Guthrie's finish makes her the Lady Chap's leading goal scorer for the season. The senior now has three goals in 2017 and five goals over her four-year career.
UP NEXT
The Lady Chaparrals will return home for a pair of home conference matches beginning with Oklahoma Christian. Kickoff against the Eagles is slated for 1 p.m. Saturday Oct. 7. Earlier this season, the LCU women routed OC with a 3-0 victory in Oklahoma City, Okla. (9/7/17). Lubbock Christian holds a 7-0-1 record over OC in a rivalry that stretches back to the 2010 season. LCU also holds a 24-4 scoring advantage over Oklahoma Christian and have shutout the Eagles in all four meetings at LCU Soccer Field.
