• Lubbock Christian University moved to a 4-6-0 overall record, 3-3-0 in Heartland Conference play, with a 1-0 win over Eastern New Mexico University Saturday afternoon at LCU Soccer Field.
• LCU's offense tabbed a season-high 17 shots in the win against ENMU sophomore keeper Ryan Flores. Louis Callaghan and Corey Hutchison led the way for the Chaps with five shots each.

Abdou Joof recorded his third goal of the season in the win over the Greyhounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• With 46:43 on the clock, Brandon Couling ripped a shot from the left wing, for the Chaps, that found the crossbar and rebounded to the top of the six-yard box. Without hesitation, Joof positioned himself perfectly for a volley that found the back of the net in the 47th minute giving LCU their first and only lead of the match.

GAME NOTES
• The win places Lubbock Christian in second place of the Heartland Conference's West Division. The Chaps now trail West Texas A&M by three points.
• LCU's goal against the Greyhounds was the first unassisted finish of the season for the Chaparrals.
• The 1-0 win marks Lubbock Christian's third victory in the all-time series against the Greyhounds. ENMU's record over the Chaps falls to 5-3-3. All three of LCU's wins over Eastern New Mexico have come by way of shutout.
