CHAPS FLIGHT DECK

- After a 3-3 draw against Western Division Heartland rival, University of Texas – Permian Basin, LCU enters Thursday's match averaging two goals per game.
- The Chaparral defense has limited opponents to 11 goals in 11 games played.
STORY LINES
- Lubbock Christian holds a 2-2-2 record when playing at home this season. One of their losses came at the hands of a No. 4 ranked Midwestern State University.
- The Chaps are playing in their final week at home for the regular season.
- With 12 points in Heartland Conference standings, LCU currently leads the Western Division. Though West Texas A&M has accrued 16 points within the division standings, the Chaps hold a regular season sweep over the Buffs.

Braxton Thorne has remained a staple in the net for Lubbock Christian since beginning the conference schedule. Thorne has limited Heartland opponents to nine goals.
SCOUTING NU
- Newman currently hold a 6-5-1 overall record and a 3-4-1 conference mark.
- Ed Jabbari leads a Jet offense that has registered 21 goals throughout the season. Jabbari has racked up six goals of his own while serving up three assists.
- Though Newman is coming off of a win, the Jets have not been able to win on the road since a 2-1 victory over Missouri-St. Louis (Sept. 9).
- The Jets have failed to record a win on the road over a Heartland opponent this season.
- Chase Bowman has recorded nine appearances and nine starts in the net allowing 15 goals for the Jets
SERIES HISTORY WITH NU
The series between Newman and Lubbock Christian stands even at 2-2-1. The Chaparrals came out on top 1-0 in their most recent meeting (Sept. 16, 2017). As LCU will be heading to the Lone Star Conference in the 2019 season, Newman will join the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association. With that being said, Thursday's match will mark the final regular season meeting between the squads as Heartland Conference members.
