Lady Chaps Stay Perfect Against Dustdevils

LCU HIGHLIGHTS
- Lubbock Christian University kept their perfect record against Texas A&M International intact Thursday evening with 1-0 win on the road over the Dustdevils.
- The Lady Chaparral defense showed up in a big way limiting TAMIU to three shot attempts for the contest. Of their three shots, none were placed on frame which allowed LCU goalkeeper Hannah Wise to complete her fourth shutout of the season.
- LCU tested the Texas A&M International defense pressuring the Dustdevils and earning six corner kicks on the night. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hollie Windham nabbed her fifth goal of the season after a finish from inside the 18-yard box. Windham completed the game-winning play after Allison Scott flicked the ball into the box with a header in the 59thminute.

GAME NOTES
- Lubbock Christian improves to a 6-7-0 overall record and a 5-4-0 mark in Heartland Conference standings.
- With the win, the Lady Chaparrals have created a two-match win-streak where they have won by way of shutout in each contest.
- The 1-0 result over Texas A&M International completes the regular-season sweep over the Dustdevils. In both matches, LCU grabbed a 1-0 victory.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
15: Following the result, LCU has leap-frogged Rogers State University in the latest Heartland standings. The Lady Chaps have found their way into the fourth-place position with 15 conference points.

Lubbock Christian will look to conclude a four-game road trip Saturday afternoon as they travel to San Antonio, Texas to take on St. Mary's University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at StMU's Sigma Beta Chi Field.
