- Senior Day is in the works for Lubbock Christian University Saturday afternoon as the Chaps host Rogers State in a 1 p.m. kickoff at John Walker Soccer Complex.
- The Chaps are riding a wave of success after defeating Newman 2-1 Thursday afternoon on a successful penalty kick in the final two minutes from
Fernando Flores.
- Lubbock Christian's defense has remained strong holding teams to a .072 shots-on-goal percentage. Additionally, the Chaps rank 34
thin the nation for goals-against-average (.94).
STORY LINES
- Lubbock Christian has registered 13 goals and a 3-2-2 record at home this season.
- There will be five Chaparral seniors honored prior to kick off for Saturday's senior day festivities.
- Aside from recognizing the senior members of the LCU squad, Saturday's contest will also serve as the final home game of the season.

- Rogers State has broken even on the road this season with a 3-3-0 record in away contests.
- The Hillcats have played to an overtime period in two of their last three matches.
- Junior midfielder Chris Soward has led the RSU roster with five goals on 12 appearances.

SERIES HISTORY WITH RSU
LCU holds a 5-2-2 record over the Hillcats in an all-time rivalry that dates back to the 2010 season. RSU stole the victory in the most recent meeting with a 1-0 overtime result in Claremore, Okla. The Chaps last win over Rogers State came in a 2-0 finish at LCU Soccer Field (Sept. 15, 2016).
