- Delaney Schmidt put the Patriots up early with a finish from inside the 18-yard box in the 15
thminute. Schmidt's opportunity was created on a through-ball from Abigail Olmos.

Tegan Wilson brought the Lady Chaparrals level just before halftime with a blast in the 43
rdminute. Wilson's goal marked the first of her LCU career. She was assisted on the play by
Victoria Ramirez.

Haley Knesek provided the game-winner in the second period from inside the box.
Dallas Sanders served up the assist for Knesek to find the net.
- Pate came up with the statement play in the 80
thminute taking a pass from Knesek and carving her way through the DBU defense before unleashing a rocket from the 25-yard range.
GAME NOTES
- Lubbock Christian's win Thursday afternoon marked their first ever victory over Dallas Baptist.
- St. Mary's provided some assistance for the Lady Chaps Thursday evening defeating Newman University 1-0. With the Jets loss, Lubbock Christian moves up in the standings and is now tied with Newman for the third-place spot.
- The Lady Chaparrals improve to an 8-7-0 overall record and a 7-4-0 mark in Heartland play.
