Chaps Fall on the Road to Dustdevils

LCU HIGHLIGHTS
- Lubbock Christian University was halted Thursday evening on the road falling 1-0 to Texas A&M International in double overtime in Laredo, Texas.
- Attempts were present for the Lubbock Christian offense who recorded 11 shots for the evening.
- All three of LCU's corner kicks took place in the second period. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After 107 minutes of scoreless play, Texas A&M International concluded the match with a golden-goal finish from Elias Perales on an assist by Ruben Nielsen.

GAME NOTES
- Thursday's loss marks the first double overtime loss for the Chaparrals of the season.
- Heading into the matchup, Lubbock Christian held a four-match unbeaten streak throughout the month of October.
- The Chaparrals now fall to a 7-4-3 overall record and a 5-3-3 mark in Heartland standings.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
5: Following the result, Lubbock Christian has now played five games this season that have seen extra time. Of those overtime contests, four have stretched into a double overtime period.
