CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
- Looking to halt a two-game skid, Lubbock Christian University will make their way to Canyon, Texas for a Heartland Conference Western Division showdown against West Texas A&M University. Kickoff against the Buffs is set for 7 p.m. at The Pitch.
- The Chaparral defense has shown fortitude throughout the season allowing seven goals to rank third in the conference for goals against.
- Nine of the Chaps 17 goals have come when playing on the road this season.
STORY LINES
- After opening up the conference portion of their schedule with a 2-0-1 mark, the Chaps have since found themselves with a 2-2-2 record against Heartland opponents.
- Lubbock Christian will be looking to complete the regular season sweep of the Buffs after a 2-0 victory at LCU Soccer Field earlier this season (Sept. 13).
- Thursday's match will mark the first road game for the Chaparrals since a 0-0 draw against St. Edward's University (Sept. 22).
- The LCU squad has not allowed a goal when playing on the road since a 2-1 season-opening loss against Colorado – Colorado Springs. Since then, the Chaps have managed an 8-0 scoring margin over their foes when serving as the away squad.

- West Texas A&M's Callum Challinor is leading the conference with 10 goals to his name. His prowess in the offensive third has also ranked him 10th in the nation with four game-winning goals.
- Heading into the contest, the Buffs have made their way in to the national polls earning a No. 23 rank.
- WT has allowed six goals this season, two of which have come from Lubbock Christian.
- Of their 10 matches this season, West Texas A&M has worked their way to an 8-1-1 overall record.
- Alexander Vencel has recorded six starts in as many appearances while registering 23 saves and a .885 save percentage in the net for the Buffs.

The meeting marks the second of the season and the ninth all-time between the programs. West Texas A&M holds a 5-3-0 advantage in the rivalry. LCU stands 1-3-0 when playing in Canyon, Texas with their only win coming in the form of a 3-2 result in the 2015 season (Nov. 1, 2015).
