LUBBOCK, Texas (December 1, 2018) – No.15/18 Lubbock Christian University's Olivia Robertson scored 11 points in the opening quarter and finished with 20 points and a career-high 13 rebounds to complete a double-double and a 77-65 win over No.15 (NAIA) Our Lady of the Lake University Saturday afternoon. The win inside Rip Griffin Center marked LCU's 56th consecutive home win and they become the seventh program in NCAA to reach 56 straight home wins. The streak actively leads NCAA Division II.

Caitlyn Cunyus and Allie Schulte hit three-pointers to bookend an 8-0 LCU run to take a 14-11 lead. Mix in Robertson's 11 points in the quarter and LCU's 8-0 run was part of a 20-3 LCU run to close the quarter with LCU leading 26-14.

The eventual run carried over from the first quarter ended at 22-3 for a 28-14 lead.  LCU had a pair of 14-point leads in the quarter before the Saints closed the half on a 5-0 run to cut LCU's lead to 41-32. The Lady Chaps were 35.3% (6-of-17) from the field in the second quarter and were outscored 14-4 in the paint, as the Saints Destinee King had seven of her nine first-half points in the second quarter. Schulte was 4-of-6 from three-point range in the first half and led all scorers with 16 points in the half.

The Lady Chaps opened the fourth quarter on a 7-2 run for a 68-53 lead. They never let their lead slip under a nine-point advantage the rest of the way.
