CLAREMORE, Okla. (April 20, 2018) – The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals were held scoreless for a second straight game, dropping the final game of the series to Rogers State 3-0 Friday at Diamond Sports Complex.
SCORELESS
The Lady Chaps (27-14) were held scoreless for the second time in three games (sixth time this season), with Rogers State (33-15) driving in two runs in the third inning and adding an insurance run off a Rylee DeLozier home run in the sixth inning.
SHUTOUT
Monique Francois (20-5) started the game in the circle for Lubbock Christian, pitching the complete game allowing three runs off six hits. She struck out five Hillcats to suffer her fifth loss of the season. Andrea Morales (11-6) got the start for RSU, holding the Lady Chaps scoreless and allowing two hits for the complete game shutout and her 11
th victory of the year.
