Highlights
Lubbock Christian University went 3-0 in Dallas on the week, getting a pair of wins Friday (first time this season they have had two wins on the same day) to build their win streak to four games. LCU combined for a .271 attack percentage on the day with 19 aces.
Lauren Zoller and
Avery Moore each had 24 kills on the day and Bradi Marshal averaged 11.67 assists per set in the combined two games.

How It Happened
Set One:
LCU opened the set with a 4-0 sparked by a pair of kills from
Lauren Zoller. The Hilltoppers rallied back from a 6-1 deficit and pulled within 11-10 before LCU answered with a 5-0 run to lead 16-11. LCU closed the set on a 4-1 run to claim the set 25-20.
Lauren Zoller (5) and
Avery Moore (4) combined for nine kills in the set for LCU.
Set Two:
SEU led 14-10 in the second set before LCU went on a 6-1 run and took a 16-15 lead.
Jaiden Kennedy started the rally with a block and Zoller followed with one of three aces in the set for LCU. The set was tied as late as 19-19 and LCU went on a 6-2 run to close the set (was part of a 15-7 run to close the set) for a 25-21 win. Moore led LCU with five kills, and Kennedy and
Ashley Vanfleet each had four kills in the set.
Kelsie French produced 11 digs in the set.
Set Three:
The Hilltoppers never trailed in the third set despite five kills from Zoller and four from
Hannah Thomas. A 6-1 run for SEU provided them with a 13-7 lead. SEU claimed the set 25-18.
Set Four:
LCU never trailed in the fourth set. SEU tied the score at 8-8 and 19-19, but LCU closed the set with a 6-1 run to win the set 25-20 and the match 3-1.
Morgan Schwarz, who had five kills in the final set, had two in the 6-1 run to close the match. Moore led LCU with six kills in the set on nine attempts. Alexa McAndrew led SEU in the set with six kills. LCU had a .318 attack percentage in the set with 19 kills.
Inside the Numbers:
19 – LCU had 19 kills in the third set to match a season high for kills in a set. They posted 19 on Sept. 6, 2018 against SWOSU.
62 – LCU's 62 kills marked a season high and the most since they posted 62 on Nov. 4, 2017 ironically against SEU.
Avery Moore had 16 kills to match a career high (Sept. 9, 2017 vs. Eastern New Mexico).

Kelsie French had a season high 32 digs. The mark was her first match with at least 30 digs this season. She had five matches with at least 30 digs last season.

Lauren Zoller had a mark of 16 kills digs and 11 digs and
Bradi Marshall marked 52 assists and 12 digs for LCU (each player's team co-leading fourth double-double of the season). Alexa McAndrew had 16 kills and 11 assists to notch a double-double for SEU.

Newman Match
How It Happened
Set One:
The Lady Chaps played from behind early, as Newman opened the match on a 5-1 run. A trio of Newman errors led to LCU tying the set up at 14-14. LCU ended up with an 11-2 run and won the set 25-18.
Lauren Zoller had three kills and a pair of aces in the set for LCU.
Set Two:
Maddie DeGuire opened the second set with four straight aces for a 4-0 lead and it was part of a 12-4 run to open the set. DeGuire ended up with five aces during the set and a 12-4 run to close the set helped LCU claim the set 25-11.
Leah Roberson led LCU at the line in the set with three kills.
Set Three:
LCU stamped the match with 15 kills in the final set, leading to a .394 attack percentage. Avery oore and
Ashley Vanfleet each had five kills in the set for LCU. The Lady Chaps opened the set on an 11-3 run. Two of Vanfleet's five kills in the set accounted for the final two points for a 25-17 set win.

Maddie DeGuire's six aces marked the fifth time a Lady Chaps member has notched six aces in a single match since 2006. No member has recorded seven in that span and Tori Vazquez was the last player to complete the honor (Sept. 22, 2009).
13 – LCU's 13 serving aces was the most since posting 13 on Oct. 26, 2017 against St. Mary's. The match was the third in which they have posted 13 aces since 2008 (they have not posted more than 13 in the stretch).

4 – The win marked LCU's fourth straight victory, which is their longest since they won four straight in November of 2016.
