Chaparrals Aim To Keep Home Success Alive

CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
- Saturday afternoon will be an important match for Lubbock Christian University who return to action against Eastern New Mexico University. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at LCU Soccer Field.
- The Chaparrals are flying high as they carry a three-match win streak following a 2-0 defeat of West Texas A&M Thursday afternoon.
- LCU seems to have found a groove on the offensive end of the field as they currently average three goals per contest.

- Lubbock Christian's defense as remained a strong staple for the team's success as they have limited opponents to a .048 shooting percentage.
- A win over Eastern New Mexico would boost LCU into sole custody of the Heartland Conference Western Division's first-place position.
- Freshman Cade Von Heimburg leads the LCU roster with seven points on three goals and one assist.
- Braxton Thorne holds a .49 goals-against average through the first four games. The freshman keeper has also accumulated a .867 save percentage.
- The Chaps have already racked up 12 goals this season compared to 16 goals in the 2017 campaign.

SCOUTING ENMU
- After opening up the season with a pair of wins, Eastern New Mexico has dropped two of their last three contests.
- The Greyhounds are being led by first year head coach Jon Fridal.
- ENMU's roster stands at 29 players with 21 of those spots filled by student-athletes from overseas.
- Eastern New Mexico has tallied 10 goals this season for a two-goals per game average.
- Gabriel Peres stands at the forefront of the Greyhound attack with seven points on three goals and one assist.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH ENMU
The two squads are no strangers to one another as this will be the 13th meeting all-time. Eastern New Mexico holds a 6-3-3 edge over Lubbock Christian. The Chaps fell in their most recent matchup against the Greyhounds in a 2-0 road result last season.
