• Lubbock Christian University closed out the Labor Day weekend with another 2-1 loss at home, this time to Colorado State University – Pueblo.

Makenna Pate logged the solo Lady Chaparral goal in the 79
th minute in an attempt to revitalize the Lubbock Christian squad.
• In addition to her goal, Pate logged seven shots for the day with four landing on target.
• LCU's defense limited the Thunderwolves attack to four shots on frame.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Karley Whiteman put CSU – Pueblo up in the 26
th minute after taking a pass from Mackenzie Bean and finding the backside netting from outside right portion of the 18-yard box.
• Bean then put the Thunderwolves up 2-0 after running onto a through ball from Michelle Moure and beating LCU keeper
Hannah Wise.
• After attacking all afternoon, Pate finally found the net slicing through CSU – Pueblo's defense onto a pass from
Hollie Windham before slipping a shot past the Thunderwolves goalie.
GAME NOTES
• Following the result, Lubbock Christian now stands 0-2-0 for the season.
• The Lady Chaparrals tallied 17 shots and six shots on goal for the day.
• Due to unforeseen rain leading up to today's game, the contest was forced to be played at Frenship High School Soccer Stadium.
