LUBBOCK, Texas (March 30, 2019) – The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals received a 3-for-4 performance at the plate from
Lindzi Clemmer and her two doubles and a 10-run fourth inning by the Lady Chaps overshadowed a two-hit shutout by
Taylor Franco as they defeated St. Edward's 12-0 Saturday at PlainsCapital Park to claim their three-game weekend series and five-game Heartland Conference season series.

LCU sent seven batters to the plate prior to the first out being recorded in the fourth inning. It led to a 10-run inning.
How it Happened:
- K'leigh Arredondo plated Savannah Wysocki with a single up the middle to open the scoring in the bottom of the third inning. LCU increased the lead to 2-0 later in the inning with single off a bunt produced by Alivia Vilarreal.
- LCU exploded with a 10-run inning in the fourth inning off nine hits. Arredondo (single) and Morgan Dufour (double) each drove in a pair of runs during the 10-run outburst. Clemmer had two at-bats in the inning and hit a double in each at-bat, going back-to-back with Wysocki late in the inning.

- LCU produced four doubles in the game. The Lady Chaps have at least three doubles hit in six consecutive games.
