- TAMUC applied some offensive pressure after the second LCU goal and put a pair of shots on frame, but Lady Chap goalkeeper Hannah Wise saved them both
- The Lady Chaps put three more shots on goal throughout the rest of the half, but Lion goalkeeper Jen Peters saved them all
- Gomez had another shot on goal six minutes into the second half that was saved, but Lubbock Christian added its final score just minutes later as Victoria Ramirez assisted on a Knesek goal
- Wise made another pair of saves in the 87th and 88th minutes before finally surrendering the Lions' only goal of the game in the game's final minute
LCU HIGHLIGHTS
- The Lady Chaps outshot the Lions 19-10 in the contest and put nine of their shots on frame to just five for Texas A&M-Commerce

- LCU's back line limited TAMUC to just 10 shots in the game, which was their second-fewest through the first six games of the season
- The Lions came into the matchup only giving up an average of .40 goals per game and had only given up multiple goals in a game once before the Lady Chaps netted three against them
- Gomez and Hoel both scored their second goal of the season in the win

- The Lady Chaps have now outshot their opponents and recorded more shots on goal in four straight games
