HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Chaps created a pair of early scoring chances in the first 10 minutes of play, but shots by Haley Knesek and Hailey Phipps both went wide
- CSU-Pueblo broke the scoreless tie in the 11th minute off of a corner kick. Jordin Schaller scored the goal with an assist from Kristin Guin
- LCU came close to evening things up again midway through the first half. A shot by Maddie Hoel was wide left, while Knesek's second shot of the day was saved by the Thunderwolf keeper
- A flurry of CSU-Pueblo shots began the second half, but one was blocked and the other three were off target. Two shots in the 69th and 70th minutes were on frame, but were saved by LCU goalkeeper Hannah Wise
- The Thunderwolves earned a corner kick in the 77th minute, but neither team took a shot for the remainder of the game
LCU HIGHLIGHTS
- Lady Chap goalkeeper Hannah Wise made five saves in the game, which was tied for her second-most in a single game during her LCU career
- Lubbock Christian held CSU-Pueblo scoreless for the final 79:03 of the contest

- The next two games for the Lady Chaps will be played at the friendly confines of the LCU Soccer Field where they will play nine times overall this season
