LEADING OFF
It's been a good weekend in Oklahoma City so far for the Lubbock Christian University baseball team. They have already won three games against Oklahoma Christian, clinching their first series win of the season. Now they have the chance to extend the win streak and go for a series sweep on Sunday. The Chaps have gotten a number of strong pitching performances already this weekend, including a strong start from Armando Valle, a pair of shutout relief appearances from Brendan Anderson and Cannon Davis and a complete game from Shandon Herrera.

STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP
LCU – Chaparral opening day starter Tyler Hardwick will go to the mound as the Chaps try and sweep the weekend. Hardwick was solid in his first outing of the year, allowing six runs in 4.1 innings, but only two of them were earned. He walked two and gave up six hits in that time. He pitched against Oklahoma Christian last season, allowing no runs on three hits with a pair of strikeouts in three innings of relief.

OC – Will Rodmam is penciled in as the Eagle hurler to get the start. A freshman out of Coppell, Texas, Rodman made his collegiate debut last week in a start against St. Mary's. He was on the mound for five innings, allowing five runs five hits and two walks in that time. He did strike out three Rattler batters.
