It's been a high-scoring, offensive series so far at Lubbock Christian University takes on St. Mary's this weekend, with a combined 61 runs between the two teams. LCU's offense has proved slightly better so far in the series, with the Chaps winning two out of the first three games, including a walkoff win on the second game of last night's doubleheader. The walkoff gave the Chaps a chance still win the series on Sunday.

STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP
LCU –
Tyler Hardwick will go to the mound in the series finale after a dominant performance last week against Oklahoma Christian. Against the Eagles, Hardwick allowed just one run in 5.1 innings of work. He scattered four hits and three walks in the outing while striking out three. Hardwick also made a start on Opening Day against Arkansas-Fort Smith, and overall, opponents are hitting .270 against him this year. He has an ERA of 2.79 in 9.2 innings of work.

StMU – Right-hander Steven Medrano will get the ball for the final game for St. Mary's in Lubbock. He has made a pair of starts this season and gone 4.0 innings in both of them. He has a 7.88 ERA in that time, having allowed seven earned runs on 10 hits and five walks. He does have eight strikeouts, but opponents are hitting .313 against him so far this year.
