OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Lubbock Christian University men's soccer team and Oklahoma Christian played to a 1-1 draw Saturday night (Oct. 21) at Eagle Soccer Field.
Lubbock Christian moved to 4-3-7 overall and 0-2-4 in Lone Star action after the draw.
How it Happened
- Lubbock Christian broke the 0-0 tie when Pablo Galietero Diez recorded his sixth goal of the season in the second minute, assisted by Nako Amare.
- The Eagles evened the match on a goal from Joep Claassen in the 85th minute, assisted by John Osadolor Ighede.
Game Notes
- Tom Miles collected eight saves for the Chaparrals out of 18 total Eagles shots. Bringing his season total to 71 saves, the most in the Lone Star Conference.
- Lubbock Christian took 12 shots, six of which were on goal.
- Amare's assist was his second of the season.
