ODESSA, Texas - The Lubbock Christian University men's basketball team wrapped up the Walk On's Thanksgiving Classic with a convincing 93-52 victory over Northern New Mexico on Saturday afternoon.

The Chaps dominated from the start en route to the blowout as five players scored in double-figures. For the third consecutive game, Aaron Gonzales led the team as he dropped 19 points and grabbed five boards. Forward Tiras Morton recorded his second double-double of the season, scoring 16 points and collecting 10 rebounds.

How it Happened

Najeeb Muhammad capped off a 14-9 run as the half came to a close with a mid-range jumper as LCU went into the locker room with a 54-28 lead.

It was more of the same in the second half as LCU continued to apply pressure on the defensive end, while capitalizing off Eagle turnovers scoring 26 points off NNM miscues. Chap forward Ty Caswell put together another strong outing in the win, scoring 16 points and corralling five boards.
