THE SERIES
This matchup marks the 18
th meeting between the Chaps and Dustdevils. The Chaps control the all-time series 11-6 but fell 75-64 in last season's game. LCU is 9-1 inside the Rip Griffin Center against TAMIU.
ABOUT TEXAS A&M INTERNATIONAL
- The Dustdevils are in their 4th season with Head Coach Mac McConnell at the helm.
- TAMIU come into Sunday's game with a 1-1 LSC record after beating UT Permian Basin and falling to Angelo State.
- Mathew Okoye is leading the way for the Dustdevils averaging 14.1 points and 2.5 rebound a night.

LCU continued Lone Star play with a 73-69 win over Arkansas-Fort Smith on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 2). The Chaps moved to 6-3 on the season and 2-0 in LSC play.
The Chaparrals had four players score in double figures, led by
Tiras Morton, who had 16 points, four assists and four steals.
Kurt Wegscheider added 12 points and two steals and
Najeeb Muhammad helped out with 12 points and three steals.
LCU forced 14 Arkansas-Fort Smith turnovers while committing only six themselves. The Chaparrals turned those takeaways into 19 points on the offensive end of the floor. Morton's four steals led the way for Lubbock Christian.
LAST TIME OUT – TEXAS A&M INTERNATIONAL
Texas A&M International fell to Angelo State 69-63 on Saturday (Dec. 2). Bringing their record to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in LSC play.
Shannon Strickland led the Dustdevils with 15 points, shooting 5-10 from the field and 3-8 from behind the arc. Mathew Okoye added 10 points and eight assists.
Olaverr Camacho and Mike Rivera both grabbed a team-high four rebounds and Emaniel Alexandre swiped three steals.
