CANYON, Texas – The Lubbock Christian University men's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season Wednesday night, falling 2-0 to West Texas A&M.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After a little back and fourth, Matteo Landais found the back of the net in the 35
th minute giving the Buffaloes a 1-0 lead.
WTAMU took the one goal lead into the half.
The Buffs extended their lead in the first minute of the second half when Keaton Hartman scored off a Gabriel Nevarez assist.
GAME NOTES
- The Buffaloes outshot LCU 16 to seven.
- Chaps Goalkeeper Tom Miles made six saves.
- LCU only had two shots on goal.

LCU will return home to take on Oklahoma Christian on Saturday (Oct. 23). Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
