RICHARDSON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference announced their weekly Indoor Track & Field honors for the 2024 season, and
Nathaniel Luna was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Week.
Luna broke two LCU records at the New Mexico Team Open in Albuquerque, N.M with NCAA Division II provisional marks. He ran a 6.79 in the 60-meters – taking first place – and a 21.27 in the 200-meters. LCU's 200 record had stood since 1995. His 200 time is also tops in the conference this season and sixth in the country.
The LCU Track & Field program returns to New Mexico Feb. 2-3 for the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.Â
