TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - The Lubbock Christian University men's soccer team opened their 2024 road slate with a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Northeastern State on Thursday night at DeLoache Field.
The tie moved LCU's record to 1-1-1 overall.
How it Happened
The Chaps totaled eight shots in the scoreless tie, three of which were on goal. Senior goalkeeper Connor Pettigrew faced 13 shots in the draw and made four saves.
Game Notes
- Saimon Gjeci led the Chaps with two shots on goal in the draw. Manu Nunez recorded the other shot on goal for LCU.
- The RiverHawks out shot the Chaps 13-8.
- The shutout is the third of Pettigrew's LCU career.
