PUEBLO, Colorado (March 1, 2025) – Lubbock Christian started off the new month with a bang, plating 13 runs in a win against CSU-Pueblo on Saturday at Rawlings Field.
Junior Evan Roach (2-1) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for the Chaparrals (10-8, 9-7 LSC). The right-hander went a season-high five innings, giving up one run on one hit, allowing one walk and striking out four.

LCU went back on top in the top of the fourth, using a single from Gomez and back-to-back doubles from Tijerina and Ryan Blackwell to score two runs. A double from Nicklaus Baumbach added another run in the fifth.
In the seventh, Lubbock Christian added more insurance on a single from Jacob Gutierrez, but the Thunderwolves got it back with a solo homer in the bottom of the frame.
