GOLDEN, Colorado (May 16, 2026) - Three Lubbock Christian University players were named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-Region Teams, the association announced.

Aaron Rubio was the lone selection to the All-Region First Team, while junior utility player
Jorge De Los Santos and junior outfielder
Hudson Grace were named to the All-Region Second Team.
Rubio, who was an All-Lone Star Conference First Team selection, finished the 2026 campaign with a 10-1 record and one save. In 82.2 innings of work he posted a 3.27 earned run average with 70 strikeouts. He tossed three complete games, two of which were shutouts, while holding opponents to a .268 batting average. Twice this season Rubio was named Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week, and he also won the NCBWA's South Central Region Pitcher of the Week award two times.
De Los Santos was also an All-LSC First Team honoree, splitting time between catcher and second base. The Monterrey, Mexico, native hit .339 on the year with a team-leading .468 on-base percentage. He hit 11 doubles, one triple and eight home runs for a .538 slugging percentage while driving in 51 runs and scoring 57 more. De Los Santos was also a member of the LSC All-Tournament Team.
Grace earns his All-Region recognition after a spot on the All-LSC Second Team. He was the leader in slugging percentage for the Chaps, with 19 doubles seven triples and seven home runs while batting .365 in his first season with the Chaps. The junior added in 29 walks for a .460 on-base percentage. He scored 49 times and drove in another 42 runs.
Lubbock Christian finished the season 34-23, reaching the NCAA Tournament for the fourth-straight season and seventh time overall.
