Biography
2014-15 (JUNIOR): Fowler was a Heartland Conference All-Conference selection (Honorable Mention) after leading LCU with a career-best 13.8 points a game. She ranked eighth in the conference in scoring. Also led the conference with a 60.8% shooting mark from the field, which is the fifth-best single-season tally in Heartland Conference history. The junior scored at least 10 points in 19 of the team’s 22 games.
2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Came in for 26 appearances during the season and averaged 6.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Haley appeared in 35 games and averaged 17.4 minutes per contest. She averaged 6.3 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Haley was solid from the field, hitting 59.7% of her shots. She also produced 44 assists and 24 steals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Fowler comes to LCU as one of the most prolific players in Texas high school basketball. She was part of two Class A state title winning teams at Smyer High School. She ended her Smyer career as the second leading all-time scoring leader in Texas high school girl’s basketball with 3,852 points, which led to SHS retiring her number 23. Fowler is a two-time State Tournament Most Valuable Player recipient and was named the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 1A Player of the Year. The four-time TABC All-State member also claimed 2011 Lubbock Avalanche Journal All-South Plains Class 1A Player of the Year after she averaged 25.6 points and 10.3 rebounds en route to a second consecutive state title her junior season. She averaged 25.3 points and 8.2 rebounds as a senior to help claim All-State and Lubbock AJ All-South Plains Class 1A accolades.
