Made two starts to open the season and suffered a season-ending injury in the second contest, which hampered a solid start to the season after compiling seven kills, seven digs and five blocks against Wayland Baptist to open the season (Jan. 19).
2019 (Freshman)
Made 21 starts in 25 matches played... In 84 matches, she co-led LCU in blocks per set (0.77), ranking second in blocks with 65.0 (15 solo blocks)... Produced a season-high eight total blocks (8.0) on Oct. 1 against Texas A&M-Kingsville...
High School
Joined the Lady Chaps from Hallettsville High School (Hallettsville, Texas)... The middle blocker produced over 700 kills and 250 blocks over three seasons on the varsity, accumulating 338 kills and 104 blocks in 103 sets played as a senior en route to claiming All-District and Victoria Advocate All-Area Team honors... Hallettsville went and reached the UIL 3A Regional Quarterfinals, where they fell to Blanco to conclude a 26-16 season in 2018 (senior year)... Cournoyer claimed 2016 District Newcomer of the Year honors and 2017 District Defensive Player of the Year honors with 256 kills and 102 blocks... She also has claimed academic honors and competed at the club level for Weimar, Texas based TEXSTAR Sports...
