High School
Shankle earned All-State recognition for three years and was a three-time First Team All-District honoree on her high school teams while being named to the All-Tournament team in 2013 while playing for the Dallas Premiere club team. The outside hitter won a state title at Geneva School of Boerne as a freshman and played in the TAPPS All-Star Game after attending Parish Episcopal as a sophomore. Shankle spent her final two years at the Covenant School of Dallas.
