Ally built an impressive multi-sport legacy at Salado High School while starring on the basketball court for the Eagles... A McDonald’s All-American nominee and Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-region selection, Ihler was a four-year varsity standout who earned All-State, All-Regional, All-District, and Academic All-State honors throughout her prep career... She helped guide Salado to the Class 4A Region III Semifinals as a senior, where the Eagles’ season ended on a buzzer-beater loss to Hamshire-Fannett, finishing with a 21–15 record... Ihler capped her senior campaign as the Austin Sports Journal Small School Player of the Year, highlighted by a 30-point playoff performance against La Grange and a defensive season total of 86 blocks... As a junior, she averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal per game, surpassing 1,000 career points while being named the Small Town Basketball Association Multi-Sport Athlete of the Year... A versatile competitor, Ihler also earned Academic All-State honors in cross country and excelled in track and swimming, breaking several school records in the pool... Off the court, she competed for the Texas Lonestar (3SSB) club program, showcasing her skills against elite national competition...
